Another showcase, a new theme to play with, and this time I decided to play with an old favourite.
This is for the Pastel Showcase to celebrate the 1st Birthday of Two Little Bubbles on Facebook.
My mini tea set has been popular on my Facebook page, and usually it is made in two colours. This time I have used a selection of pastel shades for fun, and created a dainty selection of cupcakes & macarons to complete the collection.

Joining Sticky Fingers for The Gallery... the theme this week is Back to School.
This photo was taken a couple of years ago on Julia's first day of school.
At three years old she had never been in childcare so it was time to introduce her to some time without Mummy. A full day of Playschool (9.30am to 2.30pm) was a great learning experience for her, for physical development in gross and fine motor skills, and also for social development. As you can tell from the photo, she was really keen to go and loved every minute of it!

I am having fun creating crocheted pieces for quite a few showcases. A showcase is an ideal opportunity to try a new pattern or create something new, usually with a theme in mind.
Jac from Issy Inspired has invited me to participate in her Baby Shower showcase on Facebook which starts tonight.

Joining Sticky Fingers for The Gallery... the theme this week is Movies.
When we visited Hollywood last year, we looked at all the hand and footprints in the forecourt of Grauman's Chinese Theatre. Julia was very happy to find that a movie star had hands that were just her size.
