It's Easter 2016 and I have a new Easter Egg Hunt to share. This is for Julia, my maths-loving 9 year old (how can she be that big now?)
I will admit that I was hoping that the Easter Bunny would just drop a few eggs off this year without the whole hunt thing. That peaceful thought soon evaporated earlier this week when Miss 9 clearly stated "I love the Easter Hunts that Easter Bunny leaves every year! I hope he leaves one for me this year!"
Dang, I thought, and quickly replied "Maybe he'll think you're too old for a hunt this year". "Oh no Mum, definitely not", was her emphatic response.
So I sat with pen, paper and calculator, and worked out an amazing Easter puzzle for her. Here it is for you.

Once again, the Easter Bunny has visited our house on Easter Sunday and left some treasures for Julia to find.
Last year, the Easter bunny left clues for her to follow until she found a basket full of eggs. She had to read and decipher the clues herself and managed with very little help from me.
This year, the Easter Bunny upped the challenge and left harder clues for Miss Six to follow.
Here are the clues for the Easter hunt this year.

Joining Sticky Fingers for The Gallery ... the theme this week is Easter.
The Easter Bunny always leaves treasures to find... and the Easter Egg Hunt is anticipated with glee by Julia each year.
Julia's first hunt was three years ago when she was just Little Miss 3. I had to guide her around the back garden so she could find the eggs that the Easter Bunny had left for her.
Last year I wasn't expecting a hunt, until a few days before Easter when Julia, then Miss 4, let me know that was what the Easter Bunny did every year. Mr Bunny hopped very quickly to the shops and stocked up! This photo is taken after that hunt... Julia is very pleased with her egg treasures!
This year the Easter Bunny left puzzle clues which Julia (now Miss 5) had to follow until she found a basket full of eggs. It was a bit more of a challenge this year as she had to read and decipher the clues herself. She loved the hunt and managed with very little help from me.
